Recently a new Harvest Moon game was released for the Nintendo DS, Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns.

While Harvest Moon games were first made primarily for consoles, they have now been focused more so on handheld gaming systems. The Harvest Moon series has been alive for quite some time.
